  • Description

The Schneider Electric CAE22M5 is an Easy TeSys control relay with a 2 NO + 2 NC contact composition, rated 10 A Ith at up to 690 V AC, and a 220 V AC 50 Hz control circuit. It provides four instantaneous auxiliary contacts for AC-15/AC-14 switching duty and wires in through screw clamp terminals on a 45 mm wide DIN-rail body.

Choose the CAE22M5 where the application needs 2 NO + 2 NC instantaneous switching at budget Easy TeSys cost rather than the full TeSys Deca CAD range — the contact mix is fixed, so pick the sibling variant whose NO/NC split matches the interlock or signalling circuit without adding a separate auxiliary contact block. The 220 V AC 50 Hz coil draws 70 VA inrush and 8 VA holding at 50 Hz, which the control transformer sizing should account for. Like the rest of the Easy TeSys range it carries a 180 cyc/min maximum operating rate, lower than the TeSys Deca CAD line, so reserve it for standard-duty rather than high-cycling applications.
