- Description
The Schneider Electric CAD50B7 is a TeSys Deca control relay with 5NO contact composition and a 24 V AC coil, rated 10 A conventional thermal current (Ith) at up to 690 V. It switches AC-15/DC-13 electromagnetic loads for pilot-circuit control and interlocking, rated for -40 to +60 °C ambient operation, with screw clamp terminals for DIN rail or panel mounting.

Selection Notes
The 5NO contact set gives five make contacts, useful where one command must be duplicated to several downstream circuits without a break contact. Pick the 24 V AC coil when the control circuit already runs at that voltage, so the relay coil connects directly without an extra transformer tap. The AC coil closes in 12–22 ms and draws 70 VA at inrush, dropping to 8 VA hold-in — the figure to size a shared control transformer against when several TeSys Deca relays operate together.
