The Siemens SCALANCE XRM334 (6GK5334-2TS01-2AR3) is a 19-inch rack-mount managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch with 26 RJ45 ports up to 10 Gbit/s, 8 SFP+ ports, and an included Layer 3 upgrade license, built as a PROFINET IO device. It runs on a 24 V DC supply (19.2-31.2 V range) with redundant terminal-block inputs, and operates fanless from -40 to +70 degrees C at altitudes up to 4000 m.

Selection Notes

The included Layer 3 upgrade license and higher 2048 max VLAN count separate the XRM334 from the plain XR326-8 in the same 19-inch chassis: it routes between VLANs out of the box and supports finer network segmentation. IEEE 1588 v2 time synchronization down to 50 ns typical accuracy adds a capability the XR326-8 spec sheet does not list. Choose this 24 V DC input over the 230V AC or 2x230V AC XRM334 variants when a DC control bus already reaches the cabinet.
