Selection Notes
This 1000-1350 rpm winding uses open-circuit ventilation to reach up to 505 kW in the same 280 mm shaft-height frame, trading the washdown-rated IP55 enclosure of the forced-ventilation variant for higher continuous output. Selecting the BLM/SLM connection yields 379 kW at 1000 rpm rising to 505 kW at 1350 rpm; the ALM connection instead delivers 435 kW at 1150 rpm and 760 A. The 22-minute thermal time constant is notably shorter than the forced-ventilation frame's 53 minutes, so duty-cycle sizing needs to account for the faster thermal rise at these higher power levels.
