Selection Notes

The 2AR3 variant is the DC-only version: a single 24V DC input with a spare terminal block for a second, redundant 24V feed - the option to pick when the cabinet already runs on a 24V DC bus. Pick the 3AR3 sibling instead for AC mains supply. With 24 SFP slots and only 2 RJ45 uplink ports, the XR502-32 is built for fiber-heavy access layers rather than copper-dense ones - use the XR526-8 or XR522-12 instead where most drops are RJ45.

Applications

The 24x SFP port count fits distribution cabinets aggregating long-haul fiber runs from multiple remote panels or rings, with the 8x SFP+ ports carrying the 10 Gbit/s uplink back to the plant core.
