With 24 SFP and 8 SFP+ slots against only 2 RJ45 ports, this switch targets fiber-dominant backbones rather than copper-heavy field wiring, the reverse emphasis of the RJ45-heavy XR322-12 family. This is the single-supply AC/DC-rated version; the 4AR3 sibling adds a second independent power input for supply redundancy where that matters more than a compact single-PSU footprint.
