The Siemens SCALANCE XC332 (6GK5332-0GA00-2AC2) is a managed Layer 2 industrial Ethernet switch with 32 RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and a PROFINET IO device interface for network diagnostics and redundancy management. It runs on a 24 V DC supply with a dual terminal-block input for redundant power, operates fanless from -40 to +60 degrees C, and mounts on a DIN rail, S7-300, or S7-1500 rail.

Selection Notes

The 32-port RJ45 density with no SFP/SFP+ uplinks makes the XC332 suited to copper-only cell-level distribution where all connected devices are within Cat5e/6 cable reach. Network load class III and PROFINET conformity class B support demanding PROFINET IO segments with high cyclic traffic. The dual 2-pole terminal block power input lets a second 24 V DC feed back up the supply without an external redundancy module, and F 10 A/250 V input fusing protects each feed independently.
