Selection Notes
Choose this control element where the Extension Unit needs a direct hard-wired stop function: the 2 NC contact pair opens on actuation, matching how EMERGENCY STOP circuits are normally wired, and the assembly is TUV-assessed to IEC 60947-5-x for safety-function use. It differs from the illuminated pushbutton, selector switch and keyswitch variants in the same series in that it latches mechanically and cannot be released by a momentary press, which prevents the stop condition from clearing itself.
