- Description
Schneider Electric's CA3KN22FD control relay carries 2NO+2NC contacts and a 110 V DC coil within the TeSys K range, rated 10 A conventional thermal current at up to 690 V. Rated for AC-15/DC-13 utilisation categories, it duplicates and interlocks pilot signals in control circuits, terminating on screw clamp terminals for DIN rail or screw-fixed mounting.

Selection Notes
With an equal number of make and break signals, useful for interlocking circuits that must mirror a command and its complement, the 2NO+2NC variant suits that specific wiring pattern. Specify the 110 V DC coil to match the plant's existing control voltage rather than adding a separate control transformer. The DC coil has no inrush surge and a longer 30–40 ms closing time than the AC-coil CA2Kseries, which electronic surge suppression trades for lower steady-state power draw — relevant when the relay is driven from a PLC transistor output or a current-limited 24 V DC rail.
