- Description
The Schneider Electric LV481004 Vigirex RMH is a front-panel-mounting residual current monitoring relay rated 220/240 V AC that tracks insulation degradation from cable or extension ageing. Used with a VigiPacT RM12T multiplexer for up to 12 measurement channels, it issues a control signal when the per-channel residual current, adjustable from 30 mA to 30 A, exceeds the set threshold.

Selection Notes
The RMH is a monitoring relay, not a protection relay: it issues an alarm signal but does not itself trip the associated circuit breaker, so pick the RHU or RHUs instead where automatic tripping on a residual-current fault is required. Pairing it with the RM12T multiplexer lets one RMH watch up to 12 separate feeders for early insulation degradation, which suits preventive-maintenance monitoring across a distribution board rather than single-circuit protection. Automatic reset after a fault clears keeps the monitoring loop running without a manual step at the panel.
