The FSD frame's 18.5 kW low-overload / 15 kW high-overload split lets the same power module cover pump- or fan-type loads at the higher 18.5 kW rating, or true constant-torque loads at 15 kW - size it against the actual overload duty cycle, not just peak motor power. The built-in braking chopper handles regenerative energy from decelerating loads without an external braking module, though a braking resistor is still needed to dissipate that energy. Ordering without a filter means a separate EMC or output filter must be added where the installation requires one.
