Unlike the screw-in tags in this range, which mount flush against metal at 0 mm clearance, the D426 disk needs a 25 mm standoff from metal, so specify it only where the mounting support and spacer accessory can be fitted between the tag and the fixture. Its 50 mm diameter gives more antenna area than the smaller screw-in variants, which is the trade-off for accepting the standoff requirement.
Applications
The flat disk shape and mounting spacer suit surface-mounted asset and tool tracking on jigs, fixtures, and conveyor carriers in RF200/RF300 or MOBY D lines where a screw-in metal-flush tag is not practical.
