Selection Notes

The IM 460-1 trades C-bus visibility for power-supply transfer: the expansion rack runs off the central rack's supply instead of needing its own, but loses the shared configuration and diagnostics data the IM 460-0 carries. Pick it over the IM 460-0 when eliminating a second power supply on the expansion rack matters more than cross-rack diagnostics, and note that its 1.5 m maximum cable run is shorter than the C-bus variant's. It pairs with an IM 461-1 receiver module on the expansion rack.
