The Siemens 6ES7197-1LB00-0XA0 is a Y-Link coupler that connects a single, non-redundant lower-level PROFIBUS DP master system to a pair of redundant SIMATIC S7 controllers, so field devices without a redundant interface can still run on a fault-tolerant automation system. It supports a DP transmission rate up to 12 Mbit/s and up to 31 DP devices.
