The 6BA01 revision of TM PosInput 1 needs STEP 7 TIA Portal V16 or higher; the earlier *6BA00* order number is the part to use with STEP 7 V5.6. It accepts both symmetrical RS-422 incremental and SSI absolute encoders through the same 2 encoder supply outputs (switchable 5 V or 24 V), so one module covers either encoder type rather than needing separate incremental-only and SSI-only modules.
