Selection Notes
The relay output stage gives 24-230 V AC or 24-120 V DC switching on the same 4 channels, so this module covers mixed-voltage loads that a transistor output module cannot switch directly, and the contacts stay isolated from the backplane bus and from each other. Choose BaseUnit B0 for a 3-wire connection or B1 for a 2-wire connection depending on how the load and supply are wired at the terminal block. At 7,000,000 rated operating cycles and 2 A max under inductive load, this variant fits switching duty rather than high-cycle-count applications; for higher current per channel or a transistor-based output, use a different module in the ET 200SP relay/output lineup.
Applications
Suited to decentralized switching of contactors, solenoid valves, indicator lamps, and small motors from an ET 200SP station on PROFINET or PROFIBUS, where the load voltage differs from the station's 24 V DC logic supply and electrical isolation between channels is required.
