The Siemens 3RW5215-1AC14 is a SIRIUS 3RW52 soft starter specified for mid‑range three‑phase motors. It is rated 25 A (Ie) with a nominal motor power rating of 11 kW at 400 V, and is designed for supply voltages from 200 to 480 V AC. The device accepts a control/supply voltage of 110–250 V AC for its control circuitry. As a three‑phase controlled soft starter it supports adjustable current limiting during start (Soft Torque / current limit functionality) to reduce inrush and mechanical stress, and includes an integrated bypass contactor to lower heat dissipation during run and simplify wiring. Built for industrial motor starting tasks, this model is suitable for pumps, conveyors and similar medium‑power machines where reduced starting current, smoother torque build‑up and onboard motor protection (electronic overload and thermistor input options) are required.
