- Description
The Schneider Electric ZB4RTA5 is a Harmony XB5R wireless, batteryless transmitter built around a yellow, metal, spring-return 22 mm pushbutton. Pressing the button generates its own energy and sends a Zigbee Green Power 2.4 GHz signal to a compatible receiver up to 100 m away in free field, removing both the control cable and any battery from that station.

Selection Notes
Because the transmitter harvests its own operating energy from the button press, it needs no wiring run and no battery replacement, which makes the yellow cap suited to stations that are hard to cable - mobile equipment, rotating fixtures, or retrofits onto existing panels. The 16-channel Zigbee Green Power link and 100 m free-field range mean one receiver can serve several transmitters scattered around a work cell, but a relay-antenna extends that to 300 m when the transmitter sits inside a metal enclosure that would otherwise attenuate the signal.
