Selection Notes
The trigger-action mechanical latch stays engaged once pressed and only releases on a deliberate quarter-turn, meeting ISO 13850's requirement that an emergency stop cannot reset itself or be released by an accidental push. The NC contact carries positive opening per IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K for the safety circuit, while the added NO contact gives a separate signal, for example to a PLC or beacon, confirming the stop has been triggered without wiring into the safety loop itself. Choose this 1NC+1NO version over the single-contact XB5AS8442 whenever the control system needs that extra status signal alongside the hard-wired safety circuit.
