The Schneider Electric XB4BA42 is a Harmony XB4 22 mm modular push button with a red flush metal operator, unmarked. The red flush XB4BA42 is a 1 NC contact, not 1 NO, so it is the choice for a stop or safety-interlock function wired to fail safe on wire break, unlike the 1 NO colour variants elsewhere in the range. Its positive opening guarantees contact separation even if the contacts weld, which is why it is specified for stop circuits rather than the marked-O XB4BA4322 variant alone deciding the function.
