The Schneider Electric XALK178E is a complete Harmony XALK control station for emergency stop and emergency switching off, built around an unmarked 40 mm red mushroom-head push button with turn-to-release reset, wired 1NO + 1NC. The yellow-lidded polycarbonate housing is rated IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K for washdown-exposed emergency stop points.

Selection Notes

The added 1NO contact alongside the safety 1NC lets this station feed a status or monitoring signal (for example to a PLC input confirming the stop state) from the same button that breaks the safety circuit. Where only the 1NC safety contact is needed, the simpler XALK178 covers it; where two independent NC circuits are required, the XALK178F doubles the NC output instead.
