- Description
The Schneider Electric TMC4TI2 is a Modicon M241 analog input cartridge that adds 2 temperature inputs to an M241C logic controller, supporting Pt100/Pt1000, Ni100/Ni1000 probes and J/K/R/S/B/T/N/E thermocouples at 14-bit resolution. It connects through a single spring terminal block, is insulated from internal logic at 500 V DC, and weighs 0.055 kg.

Selection Notes
Choose the TMC4TI2 over a current/voltage input cartridge when the field sensors are RTDs or thermocouples rather than 4-20 mA/0-10 V transmitters; 14-bit resolution and a 0.1 degrees C LSB give fine temperature granularity directly at the cartridge, without a separate signal-conditioning module. Because the two inputs share no insulation between channels, keep both connected to sensors referenced to the same potential.
