- Description
The Schneider Electric TM3DQ8U is a Modicon TM3 expansion module that adds 8 transistor discrete outputs with negative (sink) logic and 24 V DC output voltage to Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 logic controllers. Each channel switches up to 50 mA with a response time of 450 microseconds and mounts via the TM3 bus connector.

Selection Notes
Pick the TM3DQ8U when the downstream loads or drives expect negative (sink) logic; the TM3DQ8T covers the same 8-channel transistor output count but wired for positive (source) logic instead. Both share the 50 mA per-channel rating and 450 microsecond switching time, so the decision comes down to the sinking or sourcing convention of the connected actuators.
