The Schneider Electric TM3DI16K is a Modicon TM3 discrete input module that adds 16 sink/source 24V DC inputs to a Modicon M221, M241, M251 or M262 logic controller through a single HE10 connector instead of screw terminals. Each channel conforms to IEC 61131-2 Type 3 and switches in 4 ms.

Selection Notes

Choose the TM3DI16K over the TM3DI16 when the panel uses a pre-wired HE10 ribbon cable instead of individual screw connections - the HE-10 connector and 21.4 mm width fit tighter DIN-rail layouts where screw-terminal modules would not. Input current drops to 5 mA per channel versus 7 mA on the screw-terminal TM3DI16, and impedance rises to 4.4 kΩ. For twice the input count in the same HE10 connector style, the TM3DI32K covers 32 inputs instead of 16.
