Schneider Electric TM3DI16 Modicon TM3 16-Input 24V DC Screw Terminal PLC I/O Module

The Schneider Electric TM3DI16 is a Modicon TM3 discrete input module that adds 16 sink/source 24V DC inputs to a Modicon M221, M241, M251 or M262 logic controller. Each channel conforms to IEC 61131-2 Type 3, switches in 4 ms, and connects through a removable screw terminal block with 3.81 mm pitch.

Selection Notes

Use the TM3DI16 where the controller's onboard inputs are not enough and the machine needs 16 additional 24V DC sensor inputs on a standard screw terminal block rather than a pre-wired HE10 connector. The 4 ms response time and IEC 61131-2 Type 3 compatibility suit conventional proximity and limit switches. For a pre-wired cabinet using a multi-pin cable instead of individual screw terminals, the TM3DI16K variant covers the same 16 inputs through an HE10 connector; for double the input count in the same connector style, the TM3DI32K adds 32 inputs.
