The Schneider Electric TM3BCSL is a Modicon TM3 bus coupler that links TM3 expansion I/O to a Modicon M221, M241, M251 or M262 logic controller over a Modbus serial line, distributing up to 448 digital and 112 analog I/O points. It transmits at 1.2 to 115.2 kbit/s through two isolated RJ45 ports and carries an IP20 rating.

Pick the TM3BCSL when the installation runs on a Modbus RTU/RS-485 serial network rather than Ethernet - its two isolated RJ45 ports connect into that serial segment and the coupler manages up to 448 digital and 112 analog I/O points per controller. Where the network is EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP instead, the TM3BCEIP bus coupler is the matching choice.
