Schneider Electric TM3AQ2 Modicon TM3 2 Analog Outputs Expansion Module PLC I/O Module

The Schneider Electric TM3AQ2 is a Modicon TM3 expansion module adding 2 analog outputs (12-bit, or 11-bit plus sign) in current (0/4...20 mA) or voltage (0...10 V, -10...10 V) ranges to Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 logic controllers. Powered from the controller bus or an external 24 V DC supply drawing up to 70 mA, it drives variable speed drive speed references or any current/voltage-input actuator.

Selection Notes

Choose the TM3AQ2 over the mixed input/output module when the application only needs to drive analog setpoints and already has separate input channels elsewhere — its 2 dedicated output channels share the same 12-bit (11-bit + sign) resolution and ±0.1% accuracy class as the rest of the TM3 analog range. Choose it over the 4-channel output module when 2 channels are enough, keeping the TM3 slot count and current draw lower.
