The Schneider Electric TM3AM6 is a Modicon TM3 mixed analog expansion module adding 4 inputs and 2 outputs (12-bit, or 11-bit plus sign) in current (0/4...20 mA) or voltage (0...10 V, -10...10 V) ranges to Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 logic controllers. Powered from the controller bus or an external 24 V DC supply, it lets one TM3 slot both read and drive variable speed drive references.

Choose the TM3AM6 over separate input-only and output-only TM3 modules when a machine needs both analog sensing and analog control from a single expansion slot — its 4 inputs plus 2 outputs share the same 12-bit (11-bit + sign) accuracy class as the dedicated input and output modules in the range. It suits closed-loop applications such as reading a process value on one channel and driving a VSD speed reference on another, without consuming two TM3 slots.
