The status LED plus mechanical flag on the RXG12B7 give two independent ways to read contact state: the LED needs the 24 V AC coil energized, while the flag works even with the relay unpowered, which matters when troubleshooting a dead control circuit. Its 10 A/250 V AC rating and 2500 VA switching capacity size it for contactor coils and small motor-starter loads on a 24 V AC control loop. The DNV marine approval, alongside the standard CE/UL/CSA set, qualifies this variant for shipboard or offshore control panels.
