The Schneider Electric NTSART0214K is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS temperature input module kit with 2 isolated inputs and 16-bit resolution, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0100H base. Each channel accepts thermocouple, RTD, voltage or resistance signals over 2, 3 or 4-wire connections, covering a -40...70 degC operating range. It mounts on a DIN rail and connects to Modicon M262 or M580 controllers.

Selection Notes

The 2-channel count and 530 V AC inter-channel isolation on the NTSART0214K suit mixed-sensor temperature loops where adjacent channels carry different reference grounds, such as pairing an RTD on one input with a thermocouple on the next without cross-talk. Choose the 6-channel NTSART0603K instead when the application needs more channels per base and the sensors share a common differential wiring scheme (RTD or thermistor only, no thermocouple support). The 16-bit resolution with overflow flagging lets the controller detect broken-wire and calibration faults per channel rather than relying on a single module-level alarm.
