Selection Notes
Accuracy class sets the use case: this unit is supplied without a Class 0.5 tap, so it is suited to panel indication (Class 1) and protection-relay feeds (Class 3) rather than billing-grade metering. The 2.4 kA thermal withstand current scales with the 40 A rating, so moving to a higher-current sibling in the CC series also raises the short-circuit withstand available at the metering point — pick the ratio that matches the actual line current rather than the breaker frame size, since oversizing a CT ratio reduces measurement resolution at normal load.
