Schneider Electric LXM32SD72N4 Lexium 32 LXM32S 24A 7kW Three-Phase SERCOS III Servo Drive

The Schneider Electric LXM32SD72N4 is the top-current Lexium 32 LXM32S motion servo drive, with integrated SERCOS III communication, a continuous output current of 24 A at 8 kHz, and a nominal power of 7 kW at 400 V from a three-phase 200-240 V or 380-480 V supply. It carries integrated STO safety for the highest-load axes on a SERCOS III bus.

Selection Notes

The LXM32SD72N4's SERCOS III interface is integrated rather than card-based, which fixes this drive to SERCOS motion buses and trades away the CANopen/EtherCAT/Profinet flexibility of the LXM32M line - pick it only when the cell's motion controller is already standardized on SERCOS III. Its discrete I/O is narrower too: 2 capture inputs and 3 logic outputs only, with STO as the sole integrated safety function and no eSM card for SS1, SS2, SLS, or SOS. It is the largest frame in the LXM32S line, above the 6 A / 1.8 kW SD18N4, sized for axes whose motor draws several kilowatts continuously. At 24 A continuous / 7 kW nominal on three-phase supply, size this frame the same way as its LXM32M current-rated counterpart, based on the axis motor's continuous power draw.
