The Schneider Electric LXM32MD18M2 is a Lexium 32 'M' (modular) servo drive for a single axis, delivering 6 A continuous output current at 8 kHz from a single-phase 100-120 V / 200-240 V supply and 1 kW nominal power at 230 V. The 'M' distinguishes this drive from the fixed-fieldbus LXM32A and analog/Modbus LXM32C families: only digital I/O is integrated by default, and the fieldbus protocol — CANopen, CANmotion, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Profibus, Profinet, or Modbus TCP — is chosen per project by fitting the matching communication option card, alongside an optional eSM safety card for SS1/SS2/SLS/SOS beyond the base STO function. Its 6 A continuous rating and 1 kW at 230 V match the LXM32AD18M2 and LXM32CD18M2; select the LXM32M when the project's fieldbus protocol is undecided or differs machine to machine.
