- Description
The Schneider Electric LV434220 BSCM Modbus SL/ULP is a breaker status communication module for ComPacT NSX100 to NSX630 circuit breakers, powered at 24 V DC. Installed inside the breaker behind the front cover, it converts the device's analog indication contacts (O/F, SD, SDE) into digital status, control and measurement data for Modbus and ULP communication.

Selection Notes
The BSCM gives native Modbus-SL and ULP connectivity and an onboard memory for maintenance indicators, which a bare indication-contact wiring loom cannot provide; use it where the breaker needs to report status and be controlled remotely rather than just signal locally via dry contacts. Daisy-chaining several breakers' BSCM modules requires the separate Modbus SL Hub, and reaching Ethernet or Modbus masters requires an IFE or IFM interface module connected via the NSX cord terminal block in ULP mode.
