The Schneider Electric LUCL1XBL is a TeSys U magnetic control unit for the smallest motor band in the range, pairing with LUB12, LUB32 or LUB38 power bases for 3-phase motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 V. Its dial-adjustable short-circuit setting runs from only 0.35 to 1.4 A, tripping at 14.2 x Ir, on a 24 V DC control circuit.

Selection Notes

This is the lowest current unit in the LUCL lineup, built for sub-kilowatt motors or small fan/pump loads where the 4.5-18 A unit would never see enough current to protect anything. It is the only LUCL control unit that also fits the compact LUB12 power base, so confirm the base size before ordering. Short-circuit protection only — pair it with a drive or soft starter that already handles thermal overload.
