- Description
The Schneider Electric LUCB1XB is a TeSys U advanced control unit providing adjustable thermal-magnetic motor protection from 0.35 to 1.4 A plus diagnostic outputs. Plugged into an advanced LUB120, LUB320, or LUB380 power base, it forms a starter-controller with Class 10 overload tripping, phase-failure sensing, earth-fault detection, a thermal-alarm signal, and a test pushbutton for 3-phase motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 V, controlled from a 24 V AC supply.

Selection Notes
The LUCB1XB brings the diagnostic alarm and test pushbutton to the sub-fractional 0.35-1.4 A band, for small motors where supervisory warning of an approaching trip still matters. Protection behavior, Class 10 at 14.2 x Ir, matches the plain LUCA1XB exactly; the two differ only in the alarm output. Choose the DC-coil LUCB1XBL instead for panels running a 24 V DC control bus.
