Schneider Electric LUCB12FU TeSys U Advanced Control Unit 3-12 A 110-240 V AC/DC Motor Starter Module

The Schneider Electric LUCB12FU is a TeSys U advanced control unit with an adjustable motor current range of 3-12 A, inserted into a compatible power base to form a starter controller for 3-phase motors up to 5.5 kW at 400-440 V AC. It provides Class 10 thermal overload protection, phase-failure sensing, and a 110-240 V AC/DC control coil, plus a thermal overload alarm usable locally via a LUFDA module or remotely via a LULC module, and a test push button for overload simulation.

Set Ir within the 3-12 A window to match the motor's full-load current; Class 10 tripping at 14.2 x Ir covers standard-duty starts without needing a slower overload class. The advanced control unit adds a thermal overload alarm usable locally via a LUFDA module or remotely via a LULC module, and a test push button for overload simulation on top of the same overload, short-circuit, phase-failure and earth-fault protection as the standard unit in this current range - pick it when the panel needs that remote or local diagnostic signal.
