The Schneider Electric LC1D12BL is a TeSys Deca IEC contactor with 3 poles (3 NO) rated 12 A AC-3, switching motors up to 5.5 kW at 380/400 V. It runs on a low-consumption 24 V DC coil with a built-in transient suppressor and includes 1 NO + 1 NC mirror-certified auxiliary contacts, rated for up to 3600 operating cycles per hour at 60 °C.

Selection Notes

At 12 A AC-3 this contactor covers motors up to 5.5 kW at 400 V and 7.5 kW at 690 V; a higher current variant in the same LC1D range is needed for larger motors. The low-consumption 24 V DC coil with its built-in transient suppressor draws only 2.4 W holding, which matters when many contactors share a single 24 V control supply. The built-in 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary block is mirror-contact certified, meaning the NC contact can be used directly for safety-related positive-guided feedback (up to B10d = 1,369,863 cycles under nominal load per EN/ISO 13849-1) without an add-on auxiliary contact block.

Applications

Used as the switching element in direct-on-line and reversing motor starters, and for resistive load switching, in panels standardized on a 24 V DC control circuit.
