- Description
The Schneider Electric LA9LB920 is a TeSys short-circuit current limiter module that raises the breaking capacity of an upstream Integral 63, TeSys GV2 or TeSys U protection device from 50 kA to 100/130 kA at 400 V. Rated 32 A operational current (Ie) and 690 V AC (Ue), it clips onto a 35 mm DIN rail or fixes by screw, mounted independently from the device it protects.

Selection Notes
Install the LA9LB920 upstream of one or several GV2/LUB/LU2B motor circuit breakers whose combined motor rated current stays at or below 32 A; it does not change the breaker's own trip setting, it only extends the fault current the upstream installation can withstand at 400 V. Because the module activates at 1000 A, it is a short-circuit backup device, not a thermal protection element, and it must be mounted on its own DIN rail position or screw point independent of the circuit breaker it backs up.
