The Schneider Electric HMIDT952 is a Harmony GTU touchscreen operator panel with an 18.5-inch color TFT display at 1366 x 768 (FWXGA) resolution and 16 million colors. It runs from a 12-24 V DC supply, carries front-panel IP66/IP67 sealing, and uses multi-touch projected-capacitive (PCT) sensing rated for 50 million cycles, for complex-machine and food/beverage automation environments.

Selection Notes

The DT952 is the largest flat-panel display covered here in the Harmony GTU touchscreen line, at 18.5 inches with 1366 x 768 FWXGA resolution, and is the only one using projected-capacitive (PCT) multi-touch rather than resistive touch, rated for 50 million touch cycles on a sealed glass surface. That makes it suited to high-cycle, glove-off operator interaction on complex machines. Its 0-55 degC operating range is narrower than a typical 0-60 degC GTU rating, so cabinet cooling needs checking against ambient conditions where this panel is installed. It is compatible with the full Harmony GTU box range for the compute/logic side of the HMI.
