- Description
The Schneider Electric GV2ME01A is a TeSys Deca thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker with a 0.1-0.16 A adjustable thermal setting range, rated 0.16 A and 100 kA Icu at 400/415 V across 3 poles. It combines overload and short-circuit protection with manual isolation in one body, controlled by a push-button, for a single 3-phase motor branch circuit.

Selection Notes
Set the GV2ME01A thermal dial to the motor's actual nameplate full-load current within its 0.1-0.16 A range rather than defaulting to the top of the scale — the adjustment is what lets one breaker frame cover several motor sizes without replacing the device. Pick the 0.16 A sibling specifically when the motor's full-load current falls in the top half of this range; a lower-numbered GV2 variant covers the bottom half of the same current band with a finer trip margin. Phase-failure sensitivity is built in, so the GV2ME01A also trips on a lost phase even inside its normal current setting, which an LRD overload relay on an unprotected contactor branch would not catch on its own.
