The Schneider Electric G80N4TM800 is a 4P GoPact MCCB 800N moulded case circuit breaker rated 800 A, with a 50 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. It uses a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit with adjustable long-time overload protection (Ir 0.7...1 x In (560-800 A)) and a fixed instantaneous short-circuit trip at 8 x In (6400 A). The breaker suits general distribution duty up to 415 V AC.

Selection Notes

The N performance code gives this frame a 50 kA breaking capacity at 380/415 V AC, in line with the GoPact MCCB 800N range — the H-rated 70 kA variant is the step up where available fault current is higher. The TM-D trip unit sets L overload protection at Ir 0.7...1 x In (560-800 A) and I short-circuit protection fixed at 8 x In (6400 A), so there is no field adjustment beyond the thermal dial — pick the 800 A rating to sit just above the circuit's full-load current rather than relying on trip recalibration later. Within the 800-frame, the 500 A, 630 A and 800 A versions share the same enclosure and only differ in trip rating and pickup bands.
