The Schneider Electric G20B4A200 is a 4-pole GoPact MCCB 200 moulded case circuit breaker rated 200 A, built on the 200 A frame with an ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) of 25 kA at 380/415 V AC. Its TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit gives adjustable long-time overload protection (L) and instantaneous short-circuit protection (I) fixed at 12 x In (2400 A), fixed-mounted to a backplate for distribution-board incomers and feeders.

Selection Notes

The adjustable Ir range (adjustable from 0.7 x In to 1 x In (140-200 A)) lets this 200 A breaker be tuned down for loads sized below the nominal 200 A frame rating, and the instantaneous pick-up is fixed at 12 x In so the magnetic trip scales with the chosen thermal setting. Unlike the 125 A frame, this 200 A frame rates Ics at 100% of Icu (25 kA of 25 kA at 380/415 V AC), so it can clear its full fault current repeatedly without a derated service rating — a relevant factor for sub-mains where more than one fault clearance may occur before maintenance. The fourth pole trips the neutral at the same Ir setting as the phases (4P/4D), so the breaker protects a 3-phase-plus-neutral feeder without a separate neutral device.
