The C25H3MA220 is a 3-pole Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX250H moulded case circuit breaker with a 220 A magnetic-only MA trip unit and 70 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. Rated operational voltage (Ue) is 690 V AC. Built for motor protection, it provides instantaneous short-circuit tripping only, at a net weight of 2.4 kg.

Like the other MA-equipped breakers in the NSX range, the C25H3MA220 has no thermal element, so it needs a downstream overload relay or motor controller to complete the protection scheme — used alone it protects only against short-circuit, not sustained overload. The 9...14 x In adjustable instantaneous pickup allows the threshold to be set above the motor's starting inrush. For a self-contained breaker with both thermal and magnetic protection at this current and frame, the TM200/TM250 TM-D variants are the alternative.
