The C16F4TM125D1's 10 kA DC Icu is rated specifically for 4 poles in series at the full 1000 V DC — a figure that is not directly comparable to an AC breaker's kA rating because interrupting a sustained DC arc needs more series poles and contact gap than clearing an AC zero-crossing. The 0.7...1 x In adjustable thermal setting lets the trip point be tuned below the 125 A frame rating to match the PV string's rated short-circuit current. For higher string currents, the 160 A TM-DC variant shares the same 140 x 161 x 86 mm frame.
