The Schneider Electric C160N45AFM is a 4-pole, 1600 A ComPacT NS1600N moulded case circuit breaker rated for a breaking capacity of 50 kA at 380/415 V AC. The MicroLogic 5.0 A trip unit decodes to long-time overload (L), short-time delay (S) and instantaneous (I) protection, giving the C160N45AFM adjustable short-time discrimination with downstream breakers in a 4-pole, 1600 A NS1600N frame. The 'A' suffix adds an integrated ammeter for local current readout without separate metering. Zone selective interlocking is available on this trip unit, so it can be wired into a ZSI scheme to speed up fault clearance ahead of downstream breakers. Choose this 5.0 (LSI) version over the 2.0 (LI) sibling when short-time coordination is required, or over 6.0 (LSIG) when ground-fault protection is not needed in this circuit.
