Schneider Electric C100S3NAFM ComPacT NS1000 NA 3P 1000 A Fixed Manual Switch Disconnector

C100S3NAFM is Schneider Electric's 3-pole ComPacT NS1000 NA switch disconnector, rated 1000 A (Ie, AC-23A) and 690 V AC, with an Ith of 1000 A at 60 °C. Fixed-mounted and front-connected, it is a manually operated isolating device with no breaking (Icu) rating; its short-time withstand is 25 kA for 0.5 s and its making capacity (Icm) is 52 kA.

As an NA-coded device, the C100S3NAFM carries no interrupting (Icu) rating of its own, so it isolates the circuit but does not break fault current; it must be paired with separate overcurrent protection upstream or downstream. Its 1000 A Ie/Ith matches the equivalent-frame NS1000 circuit breakers in the same case size, so it can fill the same enclosure footprint as a maintenance isolator, bypass switch, or non-automatic main disconnect. Its 52 kA Icm short-circuit making capacity means it can be closed onto a live fault without the contacts welding shut, a property required of a switch used as a line-side or load-side disconnect rather than a simple load break switch. The 3-pole version switches the three phases only; the 4-pole version of the same case also switches the neutral.
