The Schneider Electric BMXDDI3202K is a Modicon X80 discrete input module with 32 isolated 24 V DC inputs in positive (sink) logic, conforming to IEC 60947-5-2 and IEC 61131-2 Type 3. Each input draws 2.5 mA at 24 V DC, responds within 4 ms typical / 7 ms maximum, and supports hot swapping so a channel can be replaced without stopping the process.

The BMXDDI3202K doubles the channel density of the 16-input 24 V DC variant to 32 isolated sink-logic inputs at the same 1500 V channel-to-channel isolation, cutting slot count in racks with a high discrete I/O point count. Its taller 134.6 mm housing, versus the 16-input module's 103.7 mm, reflects the extra terminal area needed for 32 field connections. Pick the 16-input variant instead when the panel's terminal block or wiring duct is sized for the shorter module.
