- Description
The Schneider Electric BMXDAO1605 is a Modicon X80 discrete output module with 16 triac outputs rated 100-240 V AC (85-288 V AC operating range), switching up to 0.6 A per channel. Response time is under 1.011 ms on activation and deactivation, and each output is protected by an external fast-blow fuse.

Selection Notes
The BMXDAO1605 switches AC loads up to 0.6 A per channel across 16 triac outputs, for pilot lights, small solenoids, and contactor coils wired directly to 100-240 V AC — not for loads exceeding the 4.8 A total module limit. Its sub-1.011 ms response time is fast enough for sequencing logic that toggles outputs every scan cycle, without the contact wear a relay output module would accumulate at that duty cycle. Choose the relay-output variant in the range instead when the load needs DC switching or dry contacts, since triac outputs only switch AC.
