The Siemens 3RW3036-1BB14 is a SIRIUS 3RW30 series motor soft starter rated for 45 A continuous current and specified for motors up to 22 kW at 400 V (11 kW at 230 V). The main supply voltage range is 200–480 V AC, making this unit suitable for standard three-phase industrial supplies. Control power for the device accepts 110–230 V AC/DC. The starter uses phase-angle (variable phase) control with a ramp-like voltage increase to limit inrush current and reduce mechanical stress during starts. It includes an integrated bypass contactor to minimise dissipation once the motor is at full speed and provides basic motor overload protection. Typical applications are pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors where straightforward, economical motor soft starting is required and a compact S2-size device is preferred. This SKU is supplied with screw terminals and a compact footprint for panel mounting.
